Delphix provides innovative technology “Database Virtualization” to turn database infrastructure into software that operates in a fraction of the space, while preserving full functionality and performance. The company was founded in 2008 and was listed as “25 new IT companies to watch” by ComputerWorld.

I designed, developed and implemented the company’s website from its started up. My work included the site structure initialization, information architecture strategies, dynamic and visual effects design, video components editing and HTTP/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery/PHP implementation. I owned the whole project from domain to each single component – I was the architect, artist, engineer and webmaster. And I applied Search Engine Optimization by setting up a series SEO tools and inserting meta tags to HTML. My goal was to design a portal/face/image for the company that showcases the highlights of Delphix technology and help visitors to know about the company and become potential customers. The style of the website echos Delphix Server – black, red and gray are dominant colors to balance everything and create a clean and fresh feeling.

At the same time, I designed, optimized and implemented Customer Self Service Portal to provide maintenance services for existing customers. This system provided smooth automation for customers and gained solid customer relationships for the company. I also designed and implemented a series landing pages for different type of visitors to download data sheet, white paper, product trial or register to be customers. Besides that, I designed company’s blog system – a multiple blog site running on WordPress CMS system. The Customer Self Service Portal, landing page and company blogs share the extended look and feel of the main Delphix website, only more focusing on their specific topics. For my understanding, the Delphix website is an extensible project which is not only the company’s image, but also carries full functions for marketing, sales and social medias leverages.
